Office of Research Quality Assurance
Office of Research Quality Assurance (ORQA) promotes regulatory compliance to ensure the protection of the rights, welfare, and safety of research subjects and University personnel through the implementation of a Quality Management Plan.
PURPOSE:
- Conduct internal audit reviews with the goal of process improvement, education or in preparation for a possible outside audit
- Develop institutional Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the conduct of human subjects research
- Assist study teams at start-up to ensure processes are in place for compliant research
- Provide education and training to the clinical research community
- Administer the Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center Data and Safety Monitoring Committee
