Research Compliance

The Office of Research Oversight (ORO) reflects Georgetown University’s ongoing commitment to consolidate and harmonize research compliance activities across all campuses. Reporting jointly to the Medical Center Vice President for Biomedical Education and Research and the Main Campus Vice Provost for Research, ORO’s activities are primarily concentrated in the areas of conflict of interest; conflict of commitment, export controls; malign foreign influence, research misconduct; and responsible conduct of research.
